This month’s meeting is tonight, Thursday 7th October, in Waterstones’ Piccadilly at 7 pm – the first Thursday of the month as per normal. You will be able to see all the work Chris and his colleagues have undertaken in moving the LGBTQ+ section to the other end of the first floor near the crime novels – the space is much bigger and looks great – whoop whoop!
The book we will discuss tonight is Poison for Teacher by Nancy Spain, although it has already had ‘mixed reviews’.
The book to read for Thursday 4th November will be The Magnificent Sons by Justin Myers. it looks good and remember you still get a discount if it is bought in the Piccadilly shop and the Book Club is mentioned! Damian Barr has also agreed to come to our meeting next February …. let’s see if I can bring on some other authors … watch this space!
